CONTEST WINNERS!

I would like to thank everyone that entered the contest.  I truly was curious about every entry, it was awesome to see all of yours submissions.  But in the end I can only chose a handful of you to feature and select three individual winners.  It was really tough.  I spent the last two days pouring over who I thought were the top three. It's fun to see different mediums used which made choosing even harder.  I tried to be fair and keep things like "Is it unique?", "How creative is it?", ect...  There were so many really good picks that I even created ten honorary pieces that I felt were close to the winners, that will also be featured in my journal for two weeks.

FIRST PLACE - This is truly fabulous, I think I sputtered when I saw it for the first time .  Things that just made this a solid first place goes down to the details: the little J for my name in the headset, the headset it self (reminded me of what I love to do is play video games), and just all around awesome details .  I mean others where very good and just as technical but I felt she went above and beyond to capture who I was. SECOND PLACE - This manipulation blew me away.  I love the colors of jade through it.  I love the soft but warrior stance of the character.  Her ability to make my clothing look wet was just jaw dropping.  On top of it when I visited her space she had only 800 page views.  For such magnificent work I feel she is truly been looked over on this site.  Plus she's a total sweet heart. THIRD PLACE - She barely got this in but I feel she deserves this place.  I just can't get over the whole softness and serene look she gave me.  A beautiful piece and at the same time you can see in her eyes a type of secret she's holding back.  It's a very magical piece of work but I would describe all her pieces to be magical and mystical.  Hellobaby's use of soft colors amazes me and even how she picks her color choices . hellobaby.deviantart.com/
